Delete your Trakly account

You can delete your Trakly account yourself, at any time. It is deleted straight away, and this can’t be undone.

In the Trakly app

1. Open the app and go to Profile.
2. Tap Delete account.
3. Enter your password and tap Delete my account, then confirm.

If your work day is still running, end it first.

On the web, without the app

1. Go to https://app.trakly.in/delete-account and sign in with your Trakly email and password.
2. Enter your password and choose Delete permanently.

The same option is at the bottom of Your profile in the web dashboard.

If you are the company’s only owner

A company can’t be left without an owner, so deleting the only owner’s account deletes the whole company account: every employee, location, visit, customer and setting in it. You’ll be asked to type the company’s name to confirm. If the company should carry on without you, email hello@trakly.in before deleting and we’ll help move ownership to someone else.

What is deleted

• Your name, email address, phone number and password.
• Your location history, work days and customer visits.
• The notes and messages you wrote about customers.
• Your registered devices, notifications and every signed-in session.

Your company keeps its customers and other people’s records. Anything that only pointed to you, such as a customer you added, stays without your name on it. Copies in our encrypted backups are removed as those backups expire. Invoices and payment records that the law requires us to keep are kept for as long as the law requires.

If you can’t sign in

Reset your password from the sign-in screen (“Trouble signing in?”), or email hello@trakly.in from the address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my Trakly account”. We’ll delete the account within 30 days.

Stopping tracking without deleting your account

The app records your location only during a work day you start, and stops when you tap End day. You can also turn off its location permission in Android settings, or uninstall the app, at any time.
